Our Story
Southern Serpents began with a lifelong passion for reptiles, from a young age, I kept and cared for species such as garter snakes, grass snakes and legless lizards, before later working with bearded dragons. These early experiences built a lasting appreciation for reptiles and the responsibility that comes with keeping them.
After spending many years away from the hobby, i felt a strong desire to return. I knew I wanted to work with a species that remained small and manageable, while still offering personality and beauty. That's when I discovered the hognose snake. Their unique appearance, manageable size and unmistakable character immediately drew me in reigniting my passion.
